I was born and raised in Central Alberta and have been proud to call Red Deer home for the last twenty years. As a teenager I was inspired to pursue a dental career by my aunt who was a dentist; after high school I embarked on a journey first to Red Deer College, and then to the University of Alberta where I completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1994, followed by a Diploma in Dental Hygiene in 1996. Along the way I got married to my wonderful husband and we settled back in Red Deer where I have had the privilege of practising dental hygiene ever since. Today I have a busy family of three children who keep us on the go with activities such as hockey, music lessons, baseball, and figure skating; I also have the pleasure of being an ongoing parent volunteer within the Red Deer Skating Club. Our family enjoys being outdoors, and look forward to fishing year round, camping in the summer, and downhill skiing when we can.
I am both thrilled and honored to be a part of the team at 67th Street Dental, and am excited to continue my dental hygiene career, which I love. The most rewarding aspect of my job is meeting and getting to know patients who become like family to me. I eagerly look forward to welcoming patients to our beautiful new office!
